The Edgerton Gear Inc. Story
TPC HR started providing services to Edgerton Gear in October of 2015. Edgerton Gear was with another payroll provider and their HR professional had recently resigned. We were referred to Edgerton Gear by their group benefits insurance broker. At the time, the owner, Dave Hataj, was already convinced that he wanted to outsource HR, but wasn’t sure what that could mean. We discussed options and began working with them, primarily converting their payroll to TPC’s system and preparing for their upcoming benefits renewal.
Until September of 2016, TPC HR had been providing payroll and benefits administration, with limited HR management support. Dave contacted TPC HR and asked if we could review employee survey feedback and perhaps present it to all employees. We reviewed the information, facilitated a meeting with all employees and since have been partners on a shared leadership business transformation.
