Affordable Care Act Compliance
Beginning in 2015, employers with 50 to 99 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees must comply with the ACA reporting rules and complete the 1094 and 1095 forms by early 2016. Employers with 100 or more full-time equivalent employees must also complete the 1094 and 1095 forms as well as comply with the “employer shared responsibility” (or “pay or play”) rules. Beginning in 2016, all employers with 50 or more full-time equivalent employees must comply with the employer shared responsibility rules and offer affordable coverage with minimum essential benefits and minimum value or pay a penalty.
The Payroll Company HR Services can provide assistance in several ways due to requirements of the Affordable Care Act. Our trained and experienced team will take away the headaches and worries about missing enrollment deadlines and figuring out reporting requirements. One of our core services is tracking and administering initial and standard measurement periods for part-time employees and completing enrollments according to the company’s administrative period. We will also manage stability periods and terminations. In addition, we have developed processes to monitor FTEs and whether a company must comply with the ACA as an Applicable Large Employer (“ALE”, generally an employer with 50 or more full-time equivalent employees) and to track employment status and offers of coverage for IRS reporting requirements. If you are comfortable managing these things on your own, iSolved is the solution you are looking for.
iSolved lets you clearly and easily determine your ACA compliance, affordability, and potential penalties with the click of a button.
